"Blush" is the new "cream" palette on the block. Whites and creams have always been the rich taste rainbow for summer lightness.
Now,move over pal...."Blush" emerges with an overwhelming reception! Think of the most palest pink with a dot of taupe mixed in and you have the new color for Spring and Summer.
Don't be timid on the pale shade of this new breed....it can be worn by almost all. If you desire to sweep into the Blush ambiance but just feel washed out...simpy jazz up your makeup palette with a rosier cheek, intensify your eyes makeup with a little more drama (brown or brownish /blk undertones) and deepen your lip with a little richer mocha.

The KEY to HAPPINESS:
Perception and Compostion
We all struggle with the correct fit on jeans until we learn two major components for success......Perception and Composition and applying it correctly .The magic words are Balance and Proportion!
It's truly training your eye for the visual perception for the right fit and applying the right composition for your body shape. Understanding why you don't like the fit as much as why you do like the fit is really understanding your body shape.
First....the plain skinny on SKINNYS is that you need to be SKINNY.......end of story! So lets move on:The wrong fit on jeans can be a self-esteem nightmare. Just because skinnys are a trend....be that as it may.....don't fall victim to that look if it looks bad! You may as well wear a sign across your chest saying: "Please forgive me for I know not what I do...but I do know these skinnys are not for my body type but I'm so desperate to be in the trend that I will stuff myself into them anyway!"
So lets review:WIDE HIPS: ...go for the bootcut or slim flair. This cut will minimize a wider hip frame giving the illusion of a more slender balance for heavier thighs and hips. However, keep in mind the key for this success is keeping the hemline long for a elongated look with a darker wash which always creates a more slender appearance. Keep the hemline long covering your shoe Minimum 1/2".
. CURVY: This shape looks wonderful in the flair ,boot cut style ( with some stretch) and trouser style...while the straight cut looks great on the perfect medium frame...Curvy can still pull this look off for a longer sleek look also.
BIG BOTTOM: First rule which is the one rule that is broken the most...The curse of the back over flap pockets!! Seriously ladies...we know the trend is flap pockets with every jewel and studded stone in town plastered all over them...but save it for the ones who can wear it with STYLE and grace. If and I say "if" with a pause....you must wear them..choose pockets that are lower and less jeweled that have a flair at the bottom for balance in a dark wash.
The BIG BELLY nightmare....simple: stay away from the 7" rise and go for the 8-9" to pull in the tummy just below the belly button....and avoid front pleats on any style pant. Again indigo wash or black for slimming. Looser fitting tops!
There are some exceptions which depend on age....Dark wash versus faded ripped jeans.....it is the proportion that must always stay true.
So when in doubt....try on all styles and your eye will not lie to you....Understand your body shape and emphasize your gems (maybe on the back pockets..LOL) and minimize the personal issues .....we all have them!! The key is to recognize them, accept them and dress for them!

It must be said that wide-leg pants are not for everyone. It's for that reason that they've never been the dominant style to conquer the streets (not in the average fashioniers' lifetime, anyway) and, while we count them among 2011's fashion trends, we don't expect their lack of mass popularity change in a hurry. Skinnies have a long life left in them yet; but this is an year in which flares are on-trend, and wide leg pants are there alongside them. But while the wide-leg may not become your new wardrobe staple just yet, don't overlook it as an elegant, stylish addition to your 2011 repertoire, particularly when styled right.
